The best aspect of Snow Ball Race is the variety in the same track based on the race path used in the first half of the round. The early route that is a good snowball will be too big to roll through the smaller clearance sections later as the path to the end was too aggressive, whereas the late route that is a good snowball will be a small ball at the end but with a good controlled path to it. Under the pretty snow flakes, the game is testing the ability to read the line between growth and manoeuvrability on each individual track and the ability to read it comes with practice, not just in the game, but in many sessions.
